I got this car die the other day along with a few other dies... and really wanted to use it. Not often I make guy cards.

I'm using a quote stamp from Quietfire Design

I created a template using the Sizzix Tim's Mover's & Shapers die "Styled Labels" and some mat board, placed it on my die where I didn't want my embossing folder (Cuttlebug "Clockworks") to emboss. Ran through my machine with a piece of 110# white cardstock. Then used the drop out piece from my template and a very large balled stylus and ran it around the drop out to really emboss the area. Sponged some Distress Pumice Stone on the embossed area and some Worn Lipstick on the embossed label area. Kept the dropout under my cardstock and stamped the quote with Versafine Black Onyx. Trimmed it down and adhered it to black cardstock keeping the borders even all around.

Scored and folded my easel card and adhered my embossed piece onto the front.

Die cut my car (Marianne Designs LR0198) from a glossy black paper that had some gold paint on it and then ran it through again embossing the design. Also cut 2 more die cuts from black cardstock and layered all three pieces so it would be nice and strong. Added some tabs to the wheel hubs and then onto the floor of my card to act as a stopper.

Stamped the words Happy B'Day (Hero Arts "Happy Letters" alphabet set) with the black and clear embossed. Wrote in my words with a Zig Writer.
