MC Feb/12 - Off Edge - A Weed card
Created: February 27, 2012 I just got a new EK Success deep edge punch and Stampendous Agapanthus clear set and had to play... I'm using a quote from the Nature Quote Marks set from Quietfire Design

As usual I stamped the big flower head
from the Stampendous set, manipulated it and cut with my electronic
cutter, then stamped it with Perfect Medium and embossed with white
embossing powder. The stem is from another stamp in the set. The card is cream toned and run through my machine with a Cuttlebug embossing folder from the set "Every Day Bundle". I punched the EK Success "Scroll Pattern" around a square piece of cardstock, masked the center portion and inked it with Versafine Toffee and embossed with Rustique Tin Can. Adhered it to card, adhered the flower off the card and the stem woven through the scrollwork. Die cut the Spellbinders Labels 15 square, sponged Distress Scattered Straw, stamped the quote (minus the attribute) with Versafine Black Onyx, then went back and stamped the attribute. Adhered to card with 3D foam squares. |
