Love the way this card turned out. It's a one layer card with tons of layered stamping and coloring using stencil and mask.

I'm using a favorite sentiment from the  Quietfire Design

I die cut the largest of the Spellbinders Pears from Tim's blank masking material. It has a re-positional adhesive backing, and can be used over and over again. Adhered the pear mask to card.

I used another of my newest EK Success deep edge punches "Brick Pattern". I punched a piece of cardstock, turned my cardstock and punched the other side, then used it as a stencil, randomly sponging Distress Scattered Straw, Peeled Paint & Broken China over the whole front.

I then stamped a whole pile of stamps all around and off the edge of the pear mask using Distress Black Soot. Sponged some of the black just on the edge of the mask.  Removed mask and adhered the stencil of the pair (the negative portion of the die cut). Sponged Scattered Straw all over the pear, then went in with Aged Mahogany and then a touch of Dusty Concord. added a touch of Corduroy on the stem and waist of the pear. Splattered my black Sumi ink pen for the speckles. Used a white colored pencil for highlights.

Stamped the 3 pears (Flourishes "Pears" set #177) with Versafine Black Onyx, colored them with a white pencil then with a green or yellow pencil.

Stamped my sentiment with the Versafine black. Tied a large peg bow from a bright wide green ribbon. Adhered it to card and also tied it down with thin wire and seed beads. On the inside, hide the wire with the smallest pear die cut.
