I was asked to be a guest bartender for the next challenge on Raise The Bar blog with a theme of "Chocolate & Roses" aka brown and red. I said yes!! I took the challenge quite literally using some Kanban paper I love and haven't used in ages.

And I'm using a sentiment word from Quietfire Design..

I die cut the largest heart from the Spellbinders "Classic Hearts" set using red cardstock.

I then scored and folded my cream toned cardstock, temporarily stuck my heart onto the front, and cut around it to create my card structure.

Adhered my Chocolate cup (Kanban "Bella Coffee Shop Delights") to my floor keeping one of the little scallops free. Bent it up to become my stopper to keep the card standing.

Stamped the rose fan (Chocolate Baroque "Rose Fan" set) using Versafine Black Onyx, cleared embossed, colored with watercolors and cut out. (Actually cut it out with my electronic cutter first and then stamped it etc...). Used a PaperMate Eraser Mate Pen and colored in the border of the fan, then embossed with Rustic Tin Can. Placed a piece of double sided tape on the back in the heart area and sprinkled Ritz micro fine glitter "Warm Highlights". Since it's adhered directly onto the red heart, the glitter has a pink reddish look to it. Added some stickles red dots near the rose.

Stamped the word Love using the black and clear embossed. Added the white flourish pearls and then faux stitching with a white colored pencil.

The top area on front is a piece of Washi paper I just got from Hanko Designs. (was a gift in my order)
