INSTRUCTIONS:

Note: this scene can be created with other stamps besides fish, like butterflies, birds or other types of fish etc. Just make sure the image that will be cut out from the tape is basically a line drawn image and is easy to cut.

Put a piece of Sookwang tape on white cardstock, large enough to fit your rubber stamp. Remove release paper and sprinkle cool highlights and burnish with your finger really, really well.

Using a pipette, pick up Ecoline colors and touch the tip of your waterbrush to the pipette, then onto the glittered surface. It will bleed a bit, pick up the next color and work beside the first, so they merge and blend together. Continue picking up and dropping colors onto your glittered surface. Add a touch of water to move or dilute slightly some areas. You can carefully use the pipette to apply color as well, but I found it puts a bit too much color if you're not careful. Dry thoroughly.

Rubber stamp your image with the black, making sure you position your stamp in a pleasing area in relation to the colors. Then cut out your stamped image. Hint: I usually stamp on a piece of tracing paper so I can view the colors and where to position my stamp.

Sponge Distress stamp pad colors all over your 5 x 7" white cardstock. Mist with water, let colors get activated (you'll see little water droplets emerging), then dry thoroughly.

Rubber stamp the sand at the bottom with a pigment ink and emboss with Distress Antique Linen. Then rub with finger.

Rubber stamp the flora on the left. Rubber stamp the large seafan and gold emboss. Adhere the cut out fish in a pleasing area.

Rubber stamp the quote in the upper right hand side with the black.

Score and fold your main card in half, to get a card when folded 5"w x 7"h. Layer the stamped piece onto the bright blue, then onto the main white card. Trim neatly.
