I don't normally make cards this large, but this one needed the space...

I picked up these petals at Michael's the other day. They were originally priced at $16.99 (Wedding - Celebrate-It Decorative Petals) and reduced to what looked like $7.99. I picked them up and put them back down. Then the other day went back to Michael's and they were still there, but for some reason, I decided to buy them this time. Lo and behold, got to the cash and was only charged $1.69 - now that's what I call a deal. There are 300 petals, half that are a metallic gauze netting, and half that are a cream white with pink splotches. I figured, why cut petals if they're already cut. BIG GRIN

I'm also using an Xmas sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design .

So I punched a scalloped circle (that's the punch that was on my desk at the time...), used my glue gun with low temp glue, pinched the ends of a petal and adhered to my circle. Adhered 6, then did a second row using the gauzy petals. Looked at it and said it needed more, so adhered a layer of petals under everything and without pinching them. Much better. I folded a piece of white tissue paper into 6 layers, applied Distress Stains (Spun Sugar, Weathered Wood & Faded Jeans) misted with water so it would penetrate all layers, then dried it. Die cut 2 sizes of daisy petals (Heartfelt Creations) and adhered to center of flower, scrunching up the petals a bit. Punched a hole in the center and added a pearl brad.

My main card is a mauve toned blue (I hope like Sapphire). Adhered a piece of white lace on the left edge, then a blue gauze metallic glittered snowflake ribbon (this is one gorgeous piece of ribbon).

Used Distress stamp pads, direct to paper and the last  two layers sponged (Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters, Forest Moss & Pine Needles). Sprinkled water droplets and dried. Die cut leaves (Spellbinders "Foliage" set). Used Distress Stains on a piece of cream toned cardstock (Forest Moss & Vintage Photo), misted with water and dried. Die cut with Boss Kut "Leaf Flourish".

Stamped the sentiment with Perfect Medium and embossed with white embossing powder. Wrote in my words at the bottom with a white Marvy Reminisce pen.

So the sentiment says "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow" and my words say "I've got spring in my heart"

Added some white metallic papered snowflakes using a Fiskars 3 corner "Snowflake" punch.
