ID: MC Nov/11 - Ferns Thank You card
8.5"w x 4"h

It's been a while since I've done a one layer card... but with shading and depth techniques, it looks like multiple layers.

I'm using one of the "Thanks" stamps from Quietfire Design

I die cut the shape using a Spellbinders "Fancy Tags 2" die, cutting one section, moving the die, cutting another section, then moving the die again to do the center portion, then used my x-acto knife to just join the cuts. I then used this shape as the stencil/mask, sponging Distress Forest Moss all around and adding a bit of Dried Marigold.

Inked up the large fern stamp (Inkadinkado Create a Background "Ferns") with the Marigold, then some Shabby Shutters, a touch of the Moss and then tapped a dark brown Tombow watercolor marker on the stamp, misted with water and stamped onto the card with the stencil still in place. I inked the stamp again, removed the stencil to do that stray sprig.

Inked up my sentiment stamp with Versafine Vintage Sepia and tapped the edges with some Black Onyx.

Used an HB pencil and a paper stump to create the shadows in the tag area.

Finally I added some Peel Off glitter circles and sponged more Moss around the edges of the card.
