It's Flourishes 4th birthday this month and Julie has organized a blog hop to show customer appreciation. The only stipulation was to use a Flourishes rubber stamp and I used the large Gerber from the Gerber Daisies set #SS074.

I'm also using an Happy Birthday sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design

I repeatedly stamped the Gerber on some white cardstock with Versafine Black Onyx. Colored with Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils and a water brush. Found the "4" in the Fillmore True Font on my computer and cut it out with my electronic cutter. Used it as a template to cut it out of my background design. Edged the number with the bullet tip of a black zig writer.  Added some black Enamel Accents in the seed area of the flower.

Divided my card front into four equal parts, Adhered the panel to a burgundy toned textured cardstock. Stamped the word Happy Birthday on the lower left side with the black several times. Embossed the upper right side with the Cuttlebug birthday embossing folder. Sponged some Pumice Stone on the high points. Put a piece of a purple metallic paper I just picked up.
