One of the gals at our Crafty Dozen get together had made this type of card. I thought I'd make one as well. It's been a while since I've gotten into 3 dimensional card making...

On misc purple cardstock cut and fold my card structure.

On Strathmore 400 Series Calligraphy paper smeared Distress pads in various pinks, misted with water and scrunched up. Unscrunched and added more ink. Let dry and ironed flat, Cut to fit card spaces. Added the text "Happy Birthday" with the bullet tip of a purple Zig Writer and the small text with the other nib. Words: Age is strictly a case of mind over matter, if your don't mind it doesn't matter. Jack Benny.

Created the Pointed pen flourish design using FW acrylic inks and some Holbien gouache.

Added some tooled mini flowers adding an AB rhinestone into each center.
