This card covers another batch of challenges.
Diva Coffee Break Design  Sketch #171
Die Cut Dreams  #41 Colors: Black, White & 1 other color (I picked Brown)
Paper Popsicles  Ribbons
Creative Card Crew  #47 Vintage or Aged look

I started out with the color scheme and knowing I needed one more male card, thought I'd go in the same vein as my previous card and use brown. I used a warm white rather than a cool white, just gives a richer feel to the colors.

Then with the sketch in mind, I didn't se it as a side fold card, I saw it as a gate fold. And even though it's for a male, the flowers are not frilly, they have a male essence to them - I think.

So I started with the white cardstock, smeared Distress stamp pads all over it in Frayed Burlap, Brushed Corduroy, Walnut Stain and a touch of Tea Dye. Then mixed a batch of Tea Dye in a mini mister with some Perfect Pearls "Perfect Bronze" and water and spritzed my cardstock generously, Then misted some more with water. Lay piece of paper over top to seep up some of the excess water, then dried it. Love the richness of this background.

Rubber stamped the floral flourish border (Fancy Pants Designs "Blissful Seasons" #773) with Perfect Medium and clear embossed it, then stamped again but slightly off with Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed that too. Mounted it to a deep brown (Recollections set "Spice Market"), then onto my Bazzill Monochrom warm white card.

Rubber stamped the "Happy Birthday" & Bonne Fete" (Quietfire Design) randomly, with the black and clear embossed them. Mounted it to the brown and then the main Bazzill card.

I scanned the image of the Just For You from a laser design I had from eons ago. Cut it with my Cricut in the warm white Bazzill cardstock. Mounted it to a Deckle Edged Rectangle Spellbinder's die cut, then onto the black cardstock. Adhered it to the main card. Tied a bow with 3 colors of thin ribbon and adhered it to the bow area of the die cut.

I adhered an off white parchment paper to the inside. Rubber stamped the Quotes (also from Quietfire Design "Friendship" Word Quote set), with Versafine Vintage Sepia. Cut out another Deckle Edge design from cardstock and used it as a stencil (and mask) to add color around the quotes.
