I just got a bunch of new stuff from Suzanne at Quietfire Design and was like a kid at Christmas, had to play with everything. I'm using 2 new stamps from Quietfire, the little snowflakes and the sentiment "Let it Snow". And I'm using one of my newest Tim Holtz On the Edge dies "Snow Flurries" Absolutely love it.

So I started out by die cutting a piece of folded white cardstock to get to get the top and bottom layer of snowflakes, which I then rubbed with perfect medium and embossed with Kaleidoscope. It gave it such a gorgeous glitz to it.

I made a side folded card by splicing two pieces together. Sponged Distress Faded Jeans, Broken China and some Dusty Concord, then misted with water and dried. Adhered my snow flurries border.

I scrunched up a piece of white cardstock, misted with a bit of water and scrunched some more, unscrunched and swiped my Faded Jeans pad all over, misted with more water and dried. Ran the Faded Jeans over the high points again and then did a bit of the Dusty Concord. Trimmed it down to fit between the snow flurries border. Added a white gauze ribbon with silver trim.

Stamped the sentiment with Versafine Majestic Blue and trimmed it close, then adhering it to the ribbon. I then stamped the small snowflakes with Brilliance Platinum stamp pad. As a final touch, tied a bow with the ribbon and adhered it to the card with a baby blue snowflake brad.
