Just got my Cuttlebug Embossing Plus folder Brocade #200249 and I love it. I'm not thrilled about how you can color your image with the folder - nothing like the Spellbinder's dies which are great. So I'll probably be relying on my own coloring techniques prior and after embossing/cutting.

Party Time Tuesdays  #6 Outside In HB card (the little shrink plastic piece at the bottom)
Gingersnaps Creations  #5 Heat think hot colors or steamy scenes
The Wild Flower Patch  #22 Grunge it up (high points sanded)
Digi Doodle Shops Best  Texturize
Scrap Your Crap
#55 Use 5 of anything or the #5 (5 rhinestones)
Mark's Finest Papers  #11 Punch It
The Secret Crafter's Saturday  #91 Apertures
The Crafty Pad   #79 Yellow, Orange and include holes
Rosie D's  #74 Summer BD's

I smooshed Distress pads on my Teflon mat (Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold, Spiced Marmalade & Rusty Hinge) misted with water, misted my cardstock a bit and lay down the cardstock and only twisted once before lifting it. Dried it. Ran through my Cuttlebug with the Brocade Embossing Plus folder, Sponged a touch of the Rusty hinge on high points. Sanded it down a bit.

Cut another brocade piece from an Orange Bling cardstock. Folded my main cream toned card and marked where the opening falls from the brocade piece, cut out the rectangle, then adhered the bling layer edge to edge. Cut the first layer down a bit to have a border when layered to the bling piece. Stamped the quote (Quietfire Design) on the inside through the front opening with Versafine Vintage Sepia.

Punched 4 Daisy corners (Martha Stewart deep edger punch) from deep orange decorated paper. Adhered them between the first and second layers.

Die cut a tag shape with Spellbinder's fancy tags, stamped the Happy Birthday (Also Quietfire Design) with the Sepia and a touch of black on the Shrink Plastic, baked it and adhered it to the card with Glossy Accents. Added two small amber rhinestones. Added three more rhinestones above the opening.

On the inside I used the drop out piece from the brocade window and stamped the flourish design using a Rollagraph wheel (Stamping Up "Baroque Border" #109675) and Distress stamp pads Marmalade & Marigold.

That does say happy Birthday on the shrink plastic piece.
