ID: MC Aug - Premo - Create Dream card
7"w x 5"h

Created: August 29, 2010

I finally had some time to play with my Polymer clay that I've been itching to do for the past week. Other than incorporating the Lattice piece, the rest had no boundaries. I really love the way this turned out.

Crazy for challenges  #52 Incorporate lattice
  Frosted Designs  Circles
Flutter By Wednesday  #119 Anything Goes (incl BFly, angel etc)
Digi Doodle Shops Best  #22 Distressing
One Stop Craft Challenge  #94 Sentiment as main focus
The Crafty Pad  #86 Simply Pearls/rhinestones etc
Opus Gluei   #69 make something different (using polymer clay)

I mixed and blended various colors of Premo, added gold leaf or Perfect Pearls, ran it through my pasta machine on the thinnest and 2nd thinnest settings. Baked the pieces, then punched with border punches or cut them out .

For the 3rd section of Premo, I cut and stacked a Pearl & a copper (about 7 stacked slices) , then cut them and stacked them side by side until I had 2 across and 2 down, then sliced them sliver thin, ran through the machine at the thinnest and layered it onto a thin white piece. When the white piece was relatively covered, ran though the machine again. Cut the long length into 3 pieces and overlapped them on the horizontal.

I cut out circles with my EK Success Orbis circle cutter, stamped the quotes (Quietfire Design) with Versafine black and clear embossed. Sponged Distress (Rusty Hinge, Aged Mahogany) around the edges of the stamped piece. Layered it onto a slightly larger white circle. Used a larger circle as a template to cut into my abstract Premo piece.

Adhered all these elements to a Bazzill Monochrome light peachy cardstock, then onto my burgundy card. The Dream circle was adhered with 3D squares to raise it above the rest.

As a final touch I added small and medium sized deep amber rhinestones around the larger circle. Punced the Sakura blossoms, leaves and dragonfly from some decorated paper I had laying around. Added a glaze of interference Green ArtQuest watercolors to the leaves and backed the dragonfly with the another punched Dragonfly.

Punched with Martha Stewart Lattice Deep edger punch. Variegated gold leaf on the right section.
