I don't have many images that convert well with rain and clouds and then I remembered this Wishing Well from Soft Flower. Stamped it onto white cardstock and colored it in with Prisma colors. Sponged Distress colors on the background. Punched the corners with a Fiskar's punch (sorry I got these eons ago before I started keeping records of what things were - Sigh!!). Glued down my Flower Soft with PVA glue. Punched out the daisy flowers from left over Batik papers which I sponged with more color for a bit more intensity. Added Ritz micro fine glitter in the centers "Rose". Added the bird sticker from PSX Designs "Birdhouse Neighborhood #SR6031". Adhered this layer to the olive green.

On the front of the main pink card I embossed a design - Cuttlebug "Stylized Flowers #37-1232" using a hammer to imprint my design all around the edges, then adhered the above layer.

Rubber stamped my quote - actually part of the quote (Quietfire Design "Give Me the Splendid...") with Versafine Vintage Sepia.

And this is where the clouds came in... I rubber stamped the quote upside down. I nearly cried. This card was 95% finished.

So I just attacked the stamping with some sand paper. I was at a point where I didn't care what happened... I tried to cover up the sanded area with White Puffs embossing powder to mimic clouds - didn't work out as I expected. Then I thought about using cotton balls to make my clouds - and I'm totally happy now. Don't need my tears on the card, I've put faux teardrop rhinestones to mimic the rain. Added the watering can which is a clear sticker put over one of my faux backgrounds and cut out.
