I really love making easel cards. I think it's one of the best card designs around. So versatile and it doesn't collapse... like other top fold cards. So I've accomplished a few challenges again with this card:

Die Cut Dreams   #42 Boots & Shoes
Pile It On #13 Easel Card
Method Playground Make an Unusual Flower
Fab n Funky #18 Pink, Chocolate & Vanilla Combo
S2G Challenges #51 April in Paris
Charisma Cardz  #14 Thank You
C.R.A.F.T.  #45 Buttons
Scrap Your Scrap  #52 Embroidery Floss

I have wanted to do an easel card with a Spellbinder's die for a while now. I finally made one the other day and said I was going to try some of my other dies. This one uses the Labels #2.

Folded my cardstock in half and placed it in the die, just shy of the top cutting edge so my fold would still be there after cutting. I then folded the easel portion in half.

Die cut another piece the same size in pink, embossed it and adhered it to my floor, since my main card was white.  Die cut one from brown, embossed it and adhere it to my front flap.

Die cut one smaller from pink cardstock, embossed it and set it aside while I made all my embellishments.

Die cut the two outer pieces using the smaller dies on a vanilla colored cardstock, folding my cardstock in half so I got a narrower profile. Used a bone folder on the back to remove the fold line. You need a magnifying glass to see the fold. Die cut similar pieces to use as masks, sponging Distress stamp pad Walnut Brown on the top and bottom edge, then sponging Spun Sugar on the sides. Rubber stamped the words (Quietfire Design "French Set") with Versafine Vintage Sepia.

The shoes (Hero Arts "High Heels" #CL303) was stamped onto Opaque Shrink Plastic, colored with Prisma colored Pencils and the heels & bow with Ritz micro fine glitter "Bronze" using a Quickie glue pen for the adhesive.

The flowers are a beautiful piece of pink silk I've had for ages and never wanted to use... Adhered it to a piece of white cardsock, Die cut it using a Sizzix "Flower #1" #38-0224. I adhered it to the pink cardstock, made a bunch from some chocolate colored embroidery floss and tied with a small piece of wire, then to the back. Adhered the button, shank removed, with Glossy Accents, cut the loops of the bundle of thread and separated the plies. I love the look of these. Sheer accident. The bottom flower has a beautiful heart bead. I also had put veins in the flower petals with a Zig Writer in brown.

When the buttons were attached, I adhered the pink to the brown, then added the side pieces and shoes.

The final step was to add the sentiment Thanks (Quietfire Design) with the Sepia and added 3 bronze colored half pearls.
