ID: Lots To Do - Faces May 2/09 - Happy Anniversary
5.25"w x 6.5"h

Created: May 2, 2009
This is a Saturday challenge from Lots to Do and the theme was to use a Face, any face. I love this rubber stamp image.

I started with a white cardstock which I rubber stamped the lady with a boo, (Stubby Stampers) and then colored with Prisma colored Pencils adding a gold gel pen for the curls in her hat. I then colored the cardstock with two tones of yellow Pan Pastels, keeping the edges a little darker. Then rubber stamped the quote (Quietfire Design "Real love stories") using Versafine Olympia Green. Cut it down to size and added the white lace border by using a Martha Stewart lace border punch. Mounted that to a Bazzill Monochromatic cardstock in an ochre tone and then onto a brownish cardstock. Added one of my calligraphic Peel Offs under the label of Elizabeth Craft Design (see link below). The left side of the card is folded to about 3/4"  from the right edge. The right edge is folded over about 1.25" and partially sits under the front flap. That right fold has been rubber stamped with a flourish stamp (Quietfire Design Flourish set) using Brilliance Pearlescent Rust and Queen's Gold embossing powder.

NOTE: This is one of my calligraphic word sentiment Peel Offs on the "Elizabeth Craft Design" labels. There are 12 styles available at the moment with another couple (numbers) coming out in 2009 or 2010. They come in four different colors (gold, silver, black, and white); "Thank You", "It's a Boy/It's a Girl", "You're Invited" Congratulations" "Happy Birthday, "Love", "Friends", "Thinking of You", "Xmas Seasonal", "Xmas" & Happy Anniversary"
