Digital Ink Co has a challenge of using one of their digital images along with the word or words of an Xmas song.

Saturday Work Out (Lots To Do) has a recipe of Chocolate Bars by Black & Green - use the colors black & green and choose one chocolate bar's color. I choose Caramel (golden yellowish wrapper)

I recently acquired the fairy image from Digi Ink Co (Twitchy) as a gift for creating a card with another Digi Ink image. I love the fairy on the toadstool. So whimsical. Since this week's challenge was to actual use one of their images, I thought I'd finally use it. I manipulated it in my photo editing program, then in Inkscapes and then created a project with Sure Cuts a Lot and cut it with my Cricut on white cardstock. Inked the whole image with Versafine Black Onyx and thermal embossed with Holographic embossing powder. It's a pity you can't see the shimmer and bling from this EP. Gorgeous greens, and blacks with touches of reddish bronze. I then twisted wire the thickness of thread with a bead at the end and adhered them to the back of the fairy. They're loose and springy when you hold the card. More whimsy...

I took a piece of golden yellow Dollar store cardstock (Tantra Textured Cardstock) and rubber stamped the "Silent Night" (Quietfire Design) several times using Distress Peeled Paint. I stamped the word "Snowflakes" with the Black Onyx and embossed with Psychedelic. Mounted this to a black cardstock then onto a medium toned bright green cardstock and then onto my main pale green card. Cut the smaller piece below it from the yellow and mounted to the black. Rubber stamped the rest of the Snowflakes quote onto it.

Punched out 3 Snowflakes (EK Success & Paper Shapers punches) from some Gold Peel off material.
