This card covers a few challenges. First is Crazy 4 Challenges (C4C30) which is a sketch challenge this week.

It also is good for
PolyCraft Challenge Recipe 4 papers, 3 Embelishments, 2 Ribbons & 1 image
Totally Gorjuss #23 Hearts
Corrosive Challenges by Janet #57 Spring Easter
Rosie D's #67 Yellow Green & White combo

I loved doing my faux batik background last week so much I decided to do another one for this card. The upper portion, scrunched up waxed paper, ironed onto white cardstock between newsprint, smeared with Distress pads (Mustard Seed, Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint), misted generously with water, then dried and ironed.

Bottom portion is from the Recollections "Spice Market" and I used the olive green cardstock, run through with the Floral Fantasy Cuttlebug embossing folder #37-1806, which has hearts on it. Both were mounted to my main heavy weight white cardstock.

I had picked up the butterfly ribbon at Michael's, it looked so pretty (sorry no ID). Then added the green with white stitching ribbon on top.

Rubber stamped the flower (Darkroom Door "Full Bloom Vol 1" set). Then went over the petals in a petal type stroke with Liquitex Glossy Dimensional Fabric Paint "Brilliant Yellow" and sprinkled some Ritz micro fine glitter in the center "Sweet Basil". Had to wait for that to dry...

Rubber stamped the 2 sizes of butterflies (Quietfire Design) with a Versafine Moss Green and a Distress Mustard Seed and clear embossed both. Then smeared Pan pastels in a bright yellow and a vibrant green. Cut them out and adhered them to the card with Glossy Accents. Added the faux amber rhinestones.

Rubber stamped the word "Friend" (Quietfire Design) on a thinner white cardstock, with the Moss Green, clear embossed it and die cut it with a Spellbinders, Petite oval, sponged some Mustard Seed in the center.
