ID: Copper Embossed - In My Thoughts

I used "Art Emboss" medium weight copper sheeting. Put it through my Cuttlebug with the "Bird Call" embossing folder. Put the copper inside a plastic bag with a paper towel and vinegar. Reversed it a few times and then the next day took it out of the bag and continued with the vinegar and air treatment. I sanded the high points to get back to a copper color and rubbed Dorland's wax over the whole thing, then buffed. Mounted it to "Chocolate" two sided core cardstock (one side brown and the core an peachy tone) and sanded it a bit, tearing the edges and cutting out some grass sprig shapes to lay over the copper. Mounted this to an aqua cardstock and added one of my calligraphic Peel offs sentiments "In my thoughts". Sponged on a bit of Walnut Stain Distress stamp pad to bring out the gold of the Peel Off.

NOTE: These are some of my calligraphic word sentiment Peel Offs on the "Elizabeth Craft Design" labels. There are 12 styles available at the moment. They come in four different colors (gold, silver, black, and white); "Thank You", "It's a Boy, It's a Girl", "You're Invited" Congratulations" "Happy Birthday, "Love", "Friends", "Thinking of You", "Xmas Seasonal", "Xmas" & Happy Anniversary". There are a few more coming out some time in 2009 or early 2010.
