I used Stonehenge (natural) cardstock.  Scored my fold lines every 4". Scored my design lines using a "Scor-it" (this card is similar to Suzanne's sample on her website Quietfire Design). 

I created my watercolor art using 90lb Canson watercolor paper, Rheotech white gesso, Golden's Iridescent Stainless Steel & Gold 3D fabric paint all applied with a palette knife and randomly smeared to get textural effects. Let that dry prior applying my watercolors. Love this color combination as well (W/N "Oxide of Chromium" green, New Gamboge, Cobalt Turquoise, Cad. Orange & Davinci's Red Rose Dp. Quinicadrone). Cut out my rectangles and edged them with a Krylon Gold Leaf pen and attached them to my card. Added the quote with a script nib and mixed combinations of Magic Color (Aqua Blue, Mars Red, Warm Grey & FW Acrylic Cool Grey). The warm grey was too brown for this project and the cool grey was too light, so I mixed them together (perfect). I also mixed some of this warm/cool grey mix with the other 2 colors, and each time I dipped my nib into these 2 colors I dipped it into the grey as well, muting the intensity of the blue and red.
