I used a dark blue value cardstock and scored multiple vertical lines using the "Scor-it" spacing them every 1/8". It produced a thin ribbed corduroy pattern and feel. I took another piece of cardstock in aqua and did the same vertical score lines and then did them horizontally creating a very small waffle pattern. I then used my Coluzzle alphabet template and cut out the word "Happy".  Used the same template and cut out it's shadow in a bright pink copy paper. Glued the word to the card. I like the feel and look of the different textures and patterns.

I did an alcohol technique on some Dollar store glossy photo paper (works well and is a lot less expensive). I started pouncing with (Adirondack Wild Plum, & Cranberry), adding (Denim) then (Pearl) then (silver) along with some of the previous colors again, especially the denim at the end and blender solution. Dried it with my heat gun and rubbed a light coat of Dorland's wax, then buffed it with a tissue.

Ran it through my Zyron and used my alphabet punch set to punch out the letters for the word "Birthday" then glued it to a piece of the bright pink copy paper, leaving a minimal border, then onto the card. Added a couple pale pink heart brads. Then to add a bit more fun, tied some funky yarns.
