The smaller lettering done with a 3.8 Parallel Pen and Sumi ink on white calligraphy practice paper.. "Wander" done with Graphite pencil chiseled to a flat edge, detailed with a red pencil, shadow outlined with a 6B pencil and paper stump then a flat edge eraser cleaned out the space between.

I used a flat edge brush and Windsor Newton watercolors double dipping my brush, first by fully loading with the pink tone and then on the edge into the blue on white calligraphy cardstock.

I started with a 6.0 Parallel Pen and Sumi ink, then did the next sample with a 2.4 and 3.8 interspersed with a 6.0 Parallel Pen and the Sumi ink.

Final piece with a 3.8 and 6.0 Parallel Pen, Sumi ink and a dirty empty parallel pen dipped into Ecoline inks.
