Lettering done with my.7 Bic mechanical pencil on Arches 140 hot press watercolor paper. The thick's and thins done correctly this time. More of the stylized roses which you can find on the Deco Rose page. These were colored again with the Inktense pencils.

The exercise for this one was to run some color between letters like a stream of water flowing down.

Used a Zig Writer bullet tip end and a bunch of joined letters on the less textured side of Canson Mr Biggie 90# CP watercolor paper. Watercolors and water between the letters.

This exercise was supposed to be melding of colors. I did more of a dropping in color into wetness. I used a relatively large "B" nib dipped into water and then my color dropped in one letter at a time on the less textured side of Canson Mr Biggie 90# CP watercolor paper. (Holbein "Peacock Blue"; Winsor Newton "Winsor Red"; Grumbacher Academy "Cadmium Yellow"). The black letter done with the Zig fine tip point.

Our Guild was donated with a bunch of lovely paper from a business that was moving. As a thank you we were asked to write the person's name that allowed the donation.

Since I was in Gemma's class I thought I would use what I learnt. BIG GRIN.

I used the largest "B" nib and Gansai Tambi "Starry Nights" watercolors. I can't remember which color I used... When dry outlined with a fine tip of the Zig Writer. Drew in the roses and painted with watercolors.
