ID: VSN December 09 - Envelope/Mail -
Floral
Created: December 28, 2009 |
This is
one of my envelope submissions for the
Vamp
Stamp Magazine for
the March 2010 issue with the theme of "Envelope Mail".
I used
24# Neenah, Neutech
25% Cotton Ultra White Wove finish paper for my envelope. It's great for
calligraphy, colored pencils and various other media. Our Guild was having a
problem with Genoa Bond, so opted for this instead. It's also a lot whiter than
the Genoa bond we've used in the past.
I drew my undulating lines and then
wrote in my letters (not quite touching the undulating lines, in a funky
monoline with similarities to Rennie Mackintosh and some of my own quirks shot
in. I then went over all my lines and letters with a Zig Writer. I used Prisma
colored pencils along with a white and a Lyra Splender Blender to color the
spaces between the letters. I added Ritz micro fine glitter to some of the
details like the diamonds between words and the dots on some of the letters.
I then rubber stamped the floral
sprigs (Inkadinkado "Floral Flourishes" # 97633) u Added my 2 sing
Kaleidacolor Rainbow Pads "Fresh Greens" & "Spectrum" and clear embossing.
Sponged some greens around the edges with Color Box Chalk "Lime Peel" and
VersaMagic "Spanish Olive".
Added my two floral
stamps.
