ID: Catherine Chong (Dec 2021) Wrote out the name with a 3.0 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in my funky redition of Carrie Imai's Carrioka style lettering. Painted the flowers with a triangle brush and QoR watercolors. Sponged around edges with Distress pads. Card is a print of one I made this year.

ID: Glenda Uthe (Dec 2021) Wrote out the name with a 3.0 Parallel pen and Ecoline "Carmine" ink in my funky rendition of Carrie Imai's Carrioka style lettering. Added various brush and gel pen decorations. Card is a print of one I made this year.

ID: Geri Arkell (Nov 2021) Wrote out the name with a Zig Writer in Monoline style and decorated each letter with a cluster of oak leaves painted using Kuretake Clean Color brush pens. Sponged around edges with Distress pads. Card word was masked with masking fluid and then background painted.

ID: Vicky Gwiasda (Nov 2021) The card: On Arches 140# HP watercolor paper. I used a 3.8 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in a Blackletter style. Masked with some Washi tape and painted the leaves with Winsor & Newton watercolors. Trimmed down, then adhered to a deep brown card base. Envelope using a 6.0 & 2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink wrote out the name in a Black letter style and an Italic style. Decorated with white gel pen dots and painted oak leaves using Kuretake Clean Color brush pens. Sponged around edges with Distress pads.

ID: Arlene Bowles (Oct 2021) On a regular envelope wrote our the name in Weaver style lettering with a pointed nib and Sumi ink. Added gold gel pen dots. Stencilled the oak leaves with Distress inks. Triptych ATC using the same stencil and lettering style.

Added Diamonds with a 3.0 Parallel pen and Pearlescent acrylic ink (Volcano Red) and gold gel pen dots. Stencilled the leaves with Distress inks. Triptych ATC using the same stencil and lettering style. |

ID: Catherine Harris (Sept 2021) On a regular envelope drew my circles and wrote out the name in Neuland style using a 4.5 Parallel pen and Sumi ink. Detailing with Artistro Extra Fine tipped pens in red and yellow. Gold Gel pen dots. Leaves painted with QoR watercolors.

ID: Jackie Doll On Arches Text Wove wrote out Jackie's name using a #4 Chisel brush and lots of water then sprinkled with Bister powders (yellow, red & blue). When dry shadowed with a .05 Micron pen. Doodled with a blue and green Zig Writer. Adhered to my envelope and added the blue border.

ID: Betty Locke (May2021) On Arches Text Wove wrote out Betty's name using a #4 Chisel brush and lots of water then sprinkled with Bister powders (yellow, red & blue). When dry shadowed with a .05 Micron pen. Stamped the Deco roses I made for Scribbled lives using Distress pads and misting with water. adhered to my envelope and added the red border.

ID: Valerie Louis (Apr/2021) I'm taking an Italic class (3 - 2 hour lessons) with Barbara Close, so I thought I'd practice a bit... I'm using a 6.0 Parallel pen, double dipping into various colors of Holbien Gouache. Shadowed with a Caran d'Ache Grafwood 5B pencil and paper stump. "Louis" with a 3.0 Parallel pen. the rest with a Zig Writer. Then I practiced creating border marks with the 3.0 pen. |

ID: Heather Victoria Held (Feb 2021) Brush lettering a la Loredana Zega (kinda...) using Holbien "Red Flame" gouache. Graphite shading. Rosemary & Co Pyramid Triangle brush for the flowers (still getting used to that brush...). The card letter "h" was something I learned in Julie Wildman's greeting card class - colored pencils and gold gel pen. |

and then adhered to the envie, using a 6.0 Parallel pen for the
1st name and a Roundhand #4 for the last name with Kuretake Gold
Mica ink. A Zig Writer for the address and doodling and added
some graphite shading. For the card I used a black photography backdrop paper (fuzzy side) and the same pen and ink. Love that 51¢ stamp.
