"Blackletter - Long & Thin - P1"

One of the exercises Renate asked us to do was to do very tall lettering. Not easy keeping it tall, skinny and straight as well as equal spacing...

ID: Impossible #1
size: 10"w x 8.5"h 

This was my first take on the quote... Sumi Vermillion ink dipped with a 6.0mm Parallel Pen on Genoa Bond paper. Quote Sumi black and 1.5mm Parallel Pen.

This is the 2nd take using the same tools and inks as above on a glossy thick paper. Still not as straight as I would have liked...

Size: 7.5"w x 6"h

Sumi ink and 2.4 Parallel Pen on Genoa Bond paper.
