Tamer G Ghoniem put out a challenge on Instagram to do one Cap letter per week for the rest of 2020 (26 weeks to go...) 

I've started adhering them to a black accordion booklet. Each page is 3"x 3". The artwork is approx 2.5"sq.

"A"

Arches 90# HP watercolor paper. Ecoline inks (Deep Yellow, Carmine). Using a #4 brush, created my letter dropping in the Carmine. Sprinkled with Schminke gold powder. When dry rewrote the letter using a 3.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink.

"B"

Arches 90# HP watercolor paper. Ecoline inks (Turquoise Blue, Carmine) and a #4 brush. Dropped in Schminke gold powder. Shadowed with a 5B graphite pencil and paper stump.

"C"

Arches 90# HP watercolor paper. Ecoline inks (Forest Green) using a #4 brush. With a Zebra G pointed nib and Robertson's adhesive drew in my design. Gilded with Robertson's 23Kt gold leaf.

Kurecolor markers. I chiseled the slanted edge to become a broad edge. Used Warm Gray and then the pink. Drew in my detail with a 3.8 parallel pen and Sumi ink. Added Prisma colored pencil shading.

"E"

6.0 Parallel pen and Bister inks (Yellow and Red). Dropped in Calligraphica Crystals "Golden Leaf" into wet letter. Graphite pencil shading

"F"

6.0 parallel pen and Bister ink (Blue and Green). Graphite shading. Gold gel pen doodling.

"G"

Gansai Tambi Starry Colors "Red Gold" and 6.0 parallel pen. Outlined with a red Zig Writer. Graphite shading.

"H"

On 110# white cardstock and using a green Zig Scroll & Brush marker drew my letter. Shaded with a graphite pencil and paper stump.

On 110# white cardstock and using a blue Zig Scroll & Brush marker drew my letter. Shaded with a graphite pencil and paper stump.

"J"

On 110# white cardstock using a 3.8 Parallel pen and Ecoline ink "Deep Yellow" and dropping in "Forest Green" into the wetness. Shaded with a graphite pencil and paper stump.

On Arches 90# HP w/c paper, 6.0 Parallel pen and Bister ink (yellow, blue and red).  Shaded with a graphite pencil and paper stump. Dropped in Calligraphica Crystals "Golden Autumn".

"L"

On Arches 90# HP w/c paper, 6.0 Parallel pen and Winsor and Newton w/c (Peacock Blue and Cadmium Yellow). 2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink for the stitching detail. Shaded with a graphite pencil and paper stump.

On Arches 90# HP w/c paper, 6.0 Parallel pen and water dropped in (Holbein Opera and Peacock Blue) watercolors. fine outline with  pink Zig Writer. Shaded with a graphite pencil and paper stump.
