This piece won a 2nd place ribbon.

I love doing Funky and decorative Neuland type letters. I lettered the larger letters with a Parallel 6.0 pen and water and dropped in Twinkles H2 watercolors on 90# Arches Hot Pre3ss watercolor paper. When dry, used a 2B pencil and lined one side of each letter, then used a paper stump to create the blended shadow (see detail below).

The central text was done with a 3.8 pen and the black ink cartridge. The separation squares were done with a 2.4 pen and a brown tone of Twinkles, when dry went over it with the same pen and some squeezed out Perfect Medium on my craft sheet, then embossed with Copper embossing powder.

The words "you" and "are" were altered to be just the "U" and "R" and then I wrote in very small .01 micron pen the rest of the word (see detail below).
