Healing (plain & color) One of my friends sent me this funny story... Since I think laughter and funny stuff is healing I thought I'd use it for this weeks challenge, On 110# Staples white cardstock using a Zig Writer and a monoline hand with red dots between the words. I thought it was little plain so did a second piece color the negative portions of the letters with Prisma colored pencils.

Story: Just be careful because people are going crazy from being in lock down! Actually I've just been talking about this with the microwave and toaster while drinking coffee and all of us agreed that things are getting bad. I didn't mention anything to the washing machine as she puts a different spin on things. Certainly not to the fridge as he is acting cold and distant. In the end the iron calmed me down as she said everything will be fine, no situation is too pressing. The vacuum was very unsympathetic... told me to just suck it up, but the fan was more optimistic and hoped it would all soon blow over! The toilet looked a bit flushed when I asked its opinion and didn’t say anything but the door knob told me to get a grip. The front door said I was unhinged and so the curtains told me to... yes, you guessed it... pull myself together! |

ID: Wk 16 - Two Things Are Infinite On Arches Text Wove sprinkled Bister powders using a Stamper's Anonymous Glitter Duster. Wrote my main text block using a 3.8 Parallel pen dipped in water. The smaller text written with a Zebra G pointed pen nib and Sumi ink. Quote: Two things are infinite: the universe and the Human stupidity. Albert Einstein translated into Latin: Duae sunt infinitae hominis stultitiam et universum. |
ID: Wk 17 - Fiddleheads On Strathmore 500 Series Charcoal paper drew in my Fiddleheads with green Prisma colored pencils. Wrote the recipe with a .02 Micron pen. Drew the title letters with a Micron pen and colored with 2 shades of green pencils.

ID: Wk 18 - Comfort - Me Myself & I On Staples 110# white cardstock painted the min word using a Simply Simons chisel #10 brush and Bister ink. Writing the letters with the yellow then dropping in some of the red. The copperplate written with a Zebra G nib and Sumi ink. I then thought of shadowing with a red colored pencil... ugh! So then used the side of the pencil to color all around and used a tissue to blend the color. Better, but still UGH!!! So I guess I need to be content with the uncolored piece.
