ID: wk 22 - Combining Art Forms - Knit 1 Purl 1
Size: 7" sq

I took a photo of a couple of my hand knit sweaters. Created the background in Photo Shop and then printed out on copy paper. Wrote in my words using a 4.5 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in a Bone Script style. Shadowed with Holbien Permanent White gouache.

ID: Wk 23 - Astronomy

Since our Guild wanted us to wear a mask to celebrate our Year End party... I said to myself lets make an astronomy mask and satisfy 2 challenges with one artwork. BIG GRIN

I just traced my glasses onto cardstock and drew the images and word, then painted with Tombows, added glitter to the stars and cut out leaving a piece on either end to wrap around my glass arms. Voila.

On Staples 110# white cardstock and only using a Bic Grip Roller Ballpoint pen.

On Fabriano CP #1264 pad, drew my design with a Micron pen then painted with Winsor & Newton watercolors.

My normal scroll pen was too wide so I took a Zig Calligraphy Pen 3.0 and cut a grove in the tip... I think I'll do a bunch of pens like this... wrote out the quote in an Uncial style.
