ID: Wk 6 - Paraprosdokian What a word... Recollection pale green cardstock for the flag book structure, covers and flags then added left over pieces of geli prints in greens and blues. The cover is double folded for strength. Text written on white Staples 110# cardstock in my Funky Neuland style with a 4.5 Parallel pen and Sumi ink, then colored with Prisma colored pencils. Title written on another piece of geli print with the Sumi and accented with a gold gel pen, then die cut with Spellbinder's Labels #20 and edged with Krylon gold leafing pen. Quotes: I'm great at multi tasking. I can waste time, be unproductive and procrastinate all at the same time. Louise Meyers People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day. AA Milne - Winnie the Pooh I try to watch what I eat and yet my eyes are not quick enough. Louise Meyers Standing in the park I was wondering why a Frisbee looks larger the closer it gets - then it hit me. Stewart Francis |

ID: wk 8 - Wine Label Wrote out my main text using a 3.0 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in Blackletter, scanned it, resized it and printed it out on Arches Text wove paper. Drew my bottle around the text and painted with various watercolors, and some Finetec. Drew my border around the text to mimic a vintage label accented with Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils and a wet brush. Since my printer is laser, and on Arches it doesn't hold, so I went over all the letters with a Fine point Sharpie pen.
