And another piece I created for an upcoming show being held by our Guild (1st week in May 2014). Keeping my fingers crossed...

I used 90lb HP watercolor paper.

Created the text block using a 1.5mm Parallel Pen with Dr Martin's Tech Drawing Ink (Rhodamine, Turquoise, April Green & Daffodil) and Sparkle Bronze powder (Neuberg Ebel) sprinkled on top. This time I used an Uncial style lettering. When dry I created a stencil of a pallet and sponged Distress "Iced Spruce" around the outside edges. Then sponged "Old Paper" in a streaky fashion on the pallet. Did some shadow marks using a brown Prisma colored pencil.

Stamped the paint tubes (gg designs "Funky Art Tools" set) using Versafine Bklack Onyx. then colored in with the Prisma colored pencils.

Added the paint brushes (Stamp-It set #004) using Distress pads, "Old Paper" for the tip on the brush and "Vintage Photo" with touches of "Walnut Stain" for the handles, then added the colored pencil detail.

As a final touch just poured on some acrylic paint blobs in a bright yellow and a fuchsia.

Words: She who eats must trust to fate to please the pallet or the plate. Sometimes there is and sometimes there ain't, I am no cook, I like to paint. author unknown
