Heraklietos of Epheos

Image: 14"w X 8"h

The image is of a beaded circle I had made about 20 years ago. I never used it and it lay unfinished in my bead box. I recently made use of it and put it in a friend's journal I was working in for a Round Robin we were doing. To see that page "Click Here"

I used Arches 90 lb Hot Press watercolor paper and printed out the beaded circle. I tried doing it with the same layout as the journal, but I just didn't like it. It didn't have the same feeling as with the 3 dimensional artwork. So I designed another format.

I used the Rennie Mackintosh Monoline alphabet I recently learnt in a class given by Lynn Slevinsky. I used 3 colors of Magic Color acrylic ink, alternating the colors. I drew the outline with a micron pen.

Words: Whosever wishes to know about the world must learn about it in its particular details. Knowledge is not intelligence. In searching for the truth, be ready for the unexpected. Change alone is unchanging. The same road goes both up and down. The beginning of a circle is also its end. Heraklietos of Epheos
