"HWL Poem"

Image size: W 11" x H 14"

Background: watercolor in blues and brown and plastic wrap technique done on Arches text Wove paper.

Lettering:  Twinkles H2o watercolors in a reddish brown for the main Uncial style lettering using a nib pen. The accent words are also done using nib and ink but double loading the nib with golds and reds. I then applied gold embossing powder to make the accent dots or lines.

Poem : I shot an arrow into the air it fell to earth I knew not where; For so swiftly it flew, the sight could not follow it in its flight. I breath a song into the air it fell to earth I knew not where; For who has sight so keen and strong that it can follow the flight of a song. Long , long afterward in an oak I found the arrow still unbroke; and the song from beginning to end I found again in the hearth of a friend. by - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
