Graceful Envelope 2005

This is an addressed envelope I submitted for the Graceful Envelope Contest for 2005. The theme was the letter "P"

I colored a piece of paper in pink and purple paisley design. I then used it to cut out the letters for Washington Calligraphy Guild which were then glued to a piece of cardstock. I drew my puzzle lines and cut out a few puzzle pieces and laid them on the surface to appear as if the puzzle is almost finished. I printed the address around the edge of the puzzle in purple ink.  The postage stamps are picture frames with a blank area in the center for my words.
