Our Guild (BVCG.ca) has a theme of pick an artist, create some artwork in his/her style and then do something calligraphic with that style... I love a lot of Georgia's paintings especially her large abstract florals. I created my own over sized floral painting - not sure if it's more a rose or a peony. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to the details of flowers. Outlined with a gold gel pen and painted with Daniel Smith watercolors. Sponged some Pan Pastel light green around the edges.
Did some Italic using a 1.5 Parallel pen and Sumi ink.
I can't sing either so I do my arty stuff and paint. I can identify with the quote...
