I liked the letters on this one, but didn't feel it had enough umph for a Stampede entry... I'm using letters I created called "Fickle" as well as some Lisa Engelbrecht style letters (Courage & Tomorrow)
And this is another piece I did a couple of versions of... The one below was my 1st attempt done just with Sumi ink. Was too blah!! so colored in the journal type lines. But it still didn't speak to me. Both pieces done on Arches Text Wove. Then did a few more versions, finally ending with the one at left where I used a pointed pen dipped into Dr Martin's colored inks & gold powder. Needless to say, I didn't pick either one for Stampede...
