Our guild is doing a full color journal, where each page will be a specific color. I decided to go with browns for this one...

I love Haiku...

Crunchy, chewy, brown
heavenly sweetness taste
no more once eaten.

I created the background on Bogus recycled sketch paper which is a brownish tone.

Used a squares stencils and Pan Pastels to create my chocolate squares, then outlined with colored pencils.

Calligraphy with a parallel pen in my funky bone type style, shadowed either with white copic ink mixed with water and a pointed pen or a black micron pen.
