After taking Tamer Ghoneim's Blackletter class held by LAGRD I thought I'd practice a bit today... Blackletter Foundry. 

Words: I drink wine because the doctor said I shouldn't keep things bottled up.

Size: 6.5"w x 6"h

On Genoa Bond calligraphy paper, using a 2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink.

Definitely a few wonky letters sigh. That's probably one of the hardest things for me, probably because of the way I slouch when writing...

Size: 6" sq

On Arches Textwove paper using a 2.4 Parallel pen and Rapidograph Carmine ink'

This one is a little better... sigh. I'm still not getting those crisp letters I want. But I like the line spacing and centering...
