As I mentioned recently I took a blackletter class with Renate Worthington... And our Guild is looking for stuff about "fauna" for our next journal... so I created this sign. (maybe to hang on the inside of a bathroom door...)
Did the calligraphy using Parallel pens 6.00mm and 2.4mm filled with Sumi ink on acid free mat board.
I shadowed the letters in "Guest" using an HB pencil and paper stump, then using a DoCrafts Papermania blue metallic brush pen added the line in each letter.
Stamped the sea foliage image (Kaiser Crafts "Costal Escape" clear stamp set) using Versafine Black Onyx and clear embossed.
Inked the edge of the mat board with Versafine "Majestic Blue" and embossed with "Queen's Gold" embossing powder.
Punched holes using my Crop-a-Dile and tied a thick beige twine.
