Be Like The Flowers

I did this piece in Connie Furgason's class and decided to enter it into the 2006 Heritage Fall Fair contest and it won a 1st place ribbon.

I used Arches text Wove paper. Did a loose watercolor of some flowers and stems using Twinkles H2o's. My quote I did with walnut ink and Twinkles for the word "Flower" using my parallel pen as a dipping pen.

I double matted it with a bright yellow inner and a white outer mat. I used a Designer Metal Frame "Frosted Gold
