Interesting challenge this month.

Sept 2nd - "A Sorry Sight"
Size: 5"w x 3.5"h

On Master Craft HP W/C paper spattered it with Masking Fluid. Let dry, then wet the paper and sprinkled with Brusho powders (Yellow, Gamboge & Leaf Green).

Used a 4.5 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in Neuland style. Accented the letters with a Sakura Gelly Roll white pen. 

Date: Sept 4 - "Brave New World"
Size: 5"w x 3.5"h

Used a 4.5 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in Neuland style. Accented Artistro EXTRA FINE paint pens. (I bought the 42 pen set). Used the Orange, Bud Green and Yellow.

Size: 8"sq

On Staples 110# cream toned cardstock and using a Helix Circle ruler drew my circles for the lettering at 2" and 3" and my decorative circles at 1-6/10 & 1-8/10ths and the outside circle at 3-1/10th using an Artistro "green" Extra Fine paint pen. 

Filled an empty cartridge with Pearlescent Galactic Blue Liquid Acrylic. Inserted it into a 4.5 Parallel pen and double dipped it into Genesis Green doing a Neuland style lettering. Outlined with a Micron pen and shadowed with a Caran D'Ache 5B pencil and blended with a paper stump. Created the leaves with an Artistro green Fine tipped rush pen.

Size: 3.5" sq

On Staples 110# white cardstock drew the Neuland style letters and doodled the insides using a Micron pen.

Date: Sept 10, 2021 "Faint Hearted"
Size: 4.5"w x 3.5"h

On Staples 110# white cardstock wrote out the words using a 4.5 Parallel pen and Sumi ink. Lined with a gold gel pen and shadowed with Graphite and paper stump. the Neuland style

 Date: Sept 12, 2021 "Green-eyed Monster"
Size: 6"w x 5"h

On Staples 110# white cardstock wrote out the words around an eye shape using a 4.5 Parallel pen and Sumi ink. Outlined with an Artistro Extra Fine green pen in  Neuland style 

Date: Sept 14, 2021 "Heart Of Gold"
Size: 6"w x 5"h

On Staples 110# white cardstock drew the heart using a gold gel pen. Wrote out the words with a 4.5 Parallel pen with Sumi ink in Neuland style. Added dots with an Artistro red extra fine tipped pen.

 Date: Sept 16, 2021 "In A Pickle"

On Staples 110# white cardstock painted the pickle with Artistro Brush pens. Wrote out the word with a 3.0 Parallel pen and Sumi ink. Added red dots with Artistro Extra Fine pen.

On Black: Stillman & Birn NovaTrio paper. wrote out the words with a 3.0 and 6.0 Parallel pen and (fresh jug) Clorox. Highlighted with a white gel pen.

I love the look on the black which doesn't show properly in the photo. It actually has a beautiful mottled beige aged look...

 Date: Sept 18, 2021 "Knock Knock! Who's there?

On Staples 110# white cardstock wrote my words on paper and then traced onto the cardstock. Painted around the letters with a black Artistro brush pen.

On Grey: Stillman & Birn NovaTrio paper. wrote out the words with a 3.0  Parallel pen and (fresh jug) Clorox. Detailed with a red Zig Writer

Date: Sept 20, 2021 "Laughing Stock"

Staples 110# white cardstock with a 2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink wrote out the words. Colored with Artistro Extra Fine pens.

On Beige: Stillman & Birn NovaTrio paper. wrote out the words with a 3.0 and 6.0 Parallel pen and (fresh jug) Clorox. Outined the 1st word with a Micron pen. Colored the 2nd word with the Artistro brush pen ad shadow with graphite and paper stump.

 Date: Sept 22, 2021 "Makes Your Hair Stand On End"

Staples 110# white cardstock with a 3.0 Parallel pen and Sumi ink. Detailed with a Molotow Liquid Chrome 2mm pen. Painted the checkered background with Artistro Brush pen.

 Date: Sept 24, 2021 "Naked Truth

Staples 110# white cardstock with a 2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink. Painted the background with Artistro gold brush pen.

On Beige: Stillman & Birn NovaTrio paper. wrote out the words with a 6.0 Parallel pen and (fresh jug) Clorox. Wrote "truth" on top with a Micron pen in Akim style.

Staples 110# white cardstock with a 3.0  and 6.0 Parallel pen and Sumi ink. Detailed with a Molotow Liquid Chrome 2mm pen.

On Grey: Stillman & Birn NovaTrio paper. wrote out the words with a 3.0 and 6.0 Parallel pen and (fresh jug) Clorox. Added dots and outline with Artistro Extra Fine pen.

I accidentally left off one of the "F's"... since there wasn't too much room, I tilted them... Makes them look like they were cut off. BIG Grin

Date: Sept 28, 2021 "Seen Better Days"
Size: 6.5"w x 5.5"h

Again the color is all wrong... It's pure black paper, and the bleach is a beautiful golden brown.

On Stillman & Birn Nova Tria black paper using Clorox and a Brody pen wrote out the words. When dry outlined - a la Thomas Hoyer - with a silver gel pen.

Again the color is wrong... It's  warm grey with a beautiful warm glow.

On Stillman & Birn Nova Tria grey paper using Clorox and a Brody pen wrote out the words. When dry shadowed with graphite pencil ad paper stump.
