Another challenge right up my alley, this one is all about WIND.. 

Week 1 - Day 1-7:

I decided to do all the words for week one as one piece. Done on Super Deluxe BEE paper, 3.0 Parallel pen double dipped into various QoR watercolors. Graphite shadow in the larger letters.

Week 2 - Day 8 - 14
Size: 5.5"sq

Thought I'd do a "whirlwind" spiral design this time...

2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink, wrote out the words in an Italic style with some flourishes on Staples 110# white cardstock.

Colored between some letters using various QoR watercolors.

 Week 3 - Day 15 - 21
Size: 5"wx 6"h

This week I decided to write the words within a tornado...

Painted the rings for the tornado with various blues and purple watercolors on Super Deluxe BEE paper. Used a 2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink then added rings with a Zig Writer.

Week 4 - Day 22 - 30
Size: 5.5"wx 6.5"h

This week I thought I'd do a kind of calligram of a palm tree blowing in the wind.

On Canson 90# CP watercolor paper I painted the background, then painted the palm trunk and leaf stems. Wrote in my words using a pointed nib and a mix of Holbien Olive Green & Prussian Blue with some Schmincke gold powder, then added the leaf strikes. When dry shadowed with Permanent white gouache. Stamped the shells (Flourishes "Seaside Life") and turtle (Pink Ink Designs "Sea Turtle").
