BVCG - April 2021 Lettering Challenge - Week 3 |
Created:
April 11, 2021 I've never done this before and will expand on the technique... The colored images are done on Arches Text Wove and the black images on white 110# Staples cardstock. Both images were then merged in Adobe Photo Shop Elements. I had done the Black lettering using Sumi ink - practicing my Italic from Barbara Close's ZOOM Italic class. Then a friend started me yakking about Bister inks, so I pulled mine out and decided to write my words only using 1 color at a time which I never do... I always use more than one and loving the effect of colors merging... Then I was looking at everything and said to myself I should try merging them to give a shadow effect... Since they're both hand written the merging wasn't as precise as I would have liked, so next time I'll think first and then merge... I enjoyed the experiment. |
