BVCG - November 2020 Lettering Challenge - Week 3

Created: November 4, 2020
Modified: November 14, 2020

I usually love challenges and this one is right up my alley.

They are all 4.25"h x 5.5"w

All are done on Staples 110# white cardstock. I looked up the places mentioned to view skylines and printed it out on my cardstock. Then looked up lettering styles for those places and tried to emulate something I liked. I'm happy with the results.

Day 15: Machu Picchu

Pointed pen lettering, Prisma colored accents

Day 16: New Zealand

Used a 2.4 Parallel pen and Sumi ink in a "Curlz" style lettering. Added the red Prisma colored band.

Day 17: Orlando

Kuretaki brush pen #8 (what Paul Antonio loves). Prisma colored pencil accents.

Day 18: Puerto Vallarta

Wrote out the city name with various calligraphy pens, added details with a black Zig Writer

Day19: Queensland

With a Kuretake #8 brush pen (refilled with Vemillion Sumi ink in a dirty cartridge giving me a brownish color right now...). Shadowed with a red Color Brush pen.

Day 20: Rio de Janeiro

Used 2 Color Brush pens (yellow and red), lightly hitting the red one with the yellow and writing getting the variegation. Shadowed with a graphite pencil and paper stump.

Day 21: Switzerland

Using a pointed pen and Vermillion Sumi ink.
