One of my friends had done a background using onions as a stamp and thought this was perfect for this theme. So I cut an onion in half - not easy to hold - and smeared it in some acrylic paint (Delta Ceramcoat Mocha & Parchment). Wrote my quote in a funky monoline with a black micron pen, added some colored pencil details to break up the text, then sponged a bit of Distress Scattered Straw around the edges. Cut a purple circle a tad larger and layered the two pieces, then onto my background.
