Art Nouveau - Howdy & Hello - Colored

Since I've been playing with this style of Art Nouveau lettering using white paper and Sumi ink I decided to try on black cardstock using coloring mediums...

Done on Michael's Recollection black cardstock

Top image: Gansai Tambi Gem Colors and a #1 Taklon paintbrush. Colored the surrounding area around in the lettering block using a Close To My Heart black Shimmer Brush.

Bottom image: Put a light layer of white Prisma colored pencils in each letter. Over colored with a yellow, then the orange and then red. Blended with a Lyra Splendor Blender.
