This mingle is a pop up with several layers. I started out with 90 lb CP watercolor paper and stamped my tulips (Stubby Stampers #3468) with Petal Point black stamp pad and embossed with Detail black. Colored in the tulips with  Pentel Color Brush pens, using the indirect technique and my water brush with 30/70 iridescent medium & H2o. Drew in some funky letters for the word "Tulips", outlined them with the thick tip of a green Zig marker and painted the inside of the letters and the negative areas with Chroma Color (Gambouge New). Colored the white edges of the paper with the appropriate colors. Made some photo corners from Arches Text wove paper and colored them with the same yellow. When I was stamping the tulips I made a few more for the inside. I painted the inside of the page with a mix of greens (Folk Art Metallic Emerald Green & Ceramcoat Forest Green). This mix makes a lovely green.

I folded the bottom of my page (which becomes the inside) accordion style to hold the rest of my tulips. Cut some of the tulips so they became smaller bunches and glued them to the folds. PS: I also glued the folds of the accordion together and inter connected a piece of ribbon through the folds and the back of the front portion, so that the folds would pop up. (tricky to explain)

Glued my tulip assemble down to another piece of green cardstock and wrote the words at the top with a green zig marker:

"Tiptoe to the window, by the window that is where I will be... Tiptoe through the tulips with me"

Charted #17 in 1968 by Tiny Tim. Originally by Nick Lucas

For the back; I folded a piece of Arches Text Wove and cut out the shape of an over large Tulip, painted the front and glued my story to the inside. Added my particulars with a Gold Gel Pen and shadow outlined it with a green Zig marker.
