ID: Tulips (Tulip Festival)
Mailing Due Date: April 11th, 2007 I folded the bottom of my page (which becomes the inside) accordion style to hold the rest of my tulips. Cut some of the tulips so they became smaller bunches and glued them to the folds. PS: I also glued the folds of the accordion together and inter connected a piece of ribbon through the folds and the back of the front portion, so that the folds would pop up. (tricky to explain) |
Looking down on the tulips with a view of the text. |
View when the front is totally opened and the tulips stand up tall. |

Glued my tulip assemble down to another piece of green cardstock and wrote the words at the top with a green zig marker: "Tiptoe to the window, by the window that is where I will be... Tiptoe through the tulips with me" Charted #17 in 1968 by Tiny Tim. Originally by Nick Lucas For the back; I folded a piece of Arches Text Wove and cut out the shape of an over large Tulip, painted the front and glued my story to the inside. Added my particulars with a Gold Gel Pen and shadow outlined it with a green Zig marker. |
