I wanted to do a bunch again this month but just didn't have the time. Bummer. This is the first one I started, so I figured I might as well finish it. I drew in the outline of the fish with a black Zig marker, then loaded lots of water within, staying away from the edges and dropped in colors using Twinkles H2o's (yellows and reds). Used the new monolines I learnt in Lynn's class "New Celtic" for the word "Pisces" and the quote which is by Galilei who is also a Piscean using Twinkles (red) again and a quill nib. Edged the page with a red Zig marker.

Quote: you cannot teach a man anything. You can only help him discover it in himself. Galileo Galilei

The back I covered with a scrapbook paper by Creative Imaginations "Citrone". It mostly gets covered over with the accordion folded text stuff, but I like the colors and the way it peeks out around the edges. Those scratch like lines are parts of the alphabet on the paper done on a paste background. They remind me of splashes in water. The fish was a recent junk mail thing from Telus Phone Co. If nothing else, I really do love the way they portray animals, so I'm always clipping them off the rest of the junk stuff. I printed out some facts about the zodiac sign onto a gold parchment paper, which I folded up accordion style and slipped under the tail of the fish to keep closed. Added some Peel Offs to mimic water splashes again. And added my particulars with a blue gel pen. Don't ask me why I put my Postal code... Another Senior moment. I was writing my city and province and just kept on as if I was addressing an envelope.
