I took a pointed pen class and decided to try using that style nib to create this page including the flowers. I think it worked well. For the flowers I used Maimeri Titanium white gouache mixed with a touch of distilled water and some gold powder (Neuberg E Ebel metallic Deep Gold #30) floating on top. Did most of the petals with that, then added some petals using Twinkles H2o Interference Violet using my dirty nib with the white/gold residue still on it. Added the stems and leaves with various colors of Twinkles. The lettering is the Interference Green. This is all done on a Black Full Spectrum cardstock using the Nikko G nib for the flowers and a Hunt 22 for the lettering. I cut the page a bit smaller than the finished size, edged it with a Krylon gold leafing pen and adhered it to a sturdier black Value Pack cardstock.

Front Detail

The back has a folded over piece of the Value Pack cardstock cut at an angle to create a pocket for the story info. I wrote the word "Chrysanthemum" at the top with Maimeri gouache "Deep Gold" and my particulars with the Twinkles Interference green. Did the same flowers for the back as the front. Added some Peel Offs gold borders.
